Saturday 10th March, 12-5pm in and around Tudor Square

This years SheFest Saturday is set to be bigger and better than ever. Join us to celebrate with a hub of activity in Sheffield city centre. We’ll be taking over Tudor Square and the surrounding areas with live music, performances, workshops and children’s activities.

With an eclectic lineup of live performances throughout the day, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Bringing the carnival vibes to kick off the day is the Sheffield Samba Band and the dancers of Sheffield Carnival. Returning for 2018 is the entrancing Nisha Lall Dance, as well as a special one off performance from the spectacular HYPE Dance company. We welcome local singer/songwriters Rachael Webster, Teah Lewis and Cordelia O’Driscoll to the stage for the first time, plus African drummers from nearby Rotherham. We’re also excited to be joined by She Choir Manchester, our sisters from across the Pennines, and all the way from Brighton, musician Chuck Sj Hay.

Bring the kids along, as Winter Gardens will be packed with activities to keep them entertained. Once you’ve browsed the stalls, younger SheFesters can meet an array of creatures and critters brought along by Animal Ark Encounters. With faces painted, they can then explore STEM with activities provided by Kisha Bradley from Bright Box.

Inside Millenium Galleries and Crucible Theatre we’re hosting a range of workshops everything from Burlesque and Poetry to Sexual Harassment and Everyday Activism. Grab your FREE place at one of the workshops and explore a new topic at SheFest 2018!
