We are thrilled to be teaming up with Museums Sheffield to celebrate International Women’s Day 2019.
With talks, tours, workshops and stalls showcasing the brilliant work of women in Sheffield, there truly is something for everyone.
Come join us from 7.30 for a whole host of activities featuring the likes of Zoe Genders and Girls With Drills, as well as a speaker’s corner, burlesque workshop, craftivism, traders, information stalls and more - plus music from Girl Gang DJs!
Here’s a breakdown of the amazing workshops we’ve got going on on the night...
7:45-8:30pm - How to Build Your Power: An Introduction to Successful Activism with Rosie Huzzard - learn about working out who to target and how to convince them to support a cause you’re passionate about with a winning argument.
8:45-9:30pm - ‘Me as a Tree’ Self-Awareness Workshop with Keep Real - an art therapy inspired session exploring our journey as individuals
9:45-10:30pm - Burlesque and Body Confidence with Krystalite Burlesque - Krystal Rouge and her Krystalites are back with another fun, glamorous and empowering burlesque workshop (self-identifying women only)
Be sure to arrive early to sign up and avoid disappointment, places are free and available on a first come first served basis! Workshop sign-ups will be outside the Activity Room, before you head up the escalators.
Recommended donation £4, no need to book - just turn up.
